ISOBUS, standardized data technology for the tractor device communication or camera systems for optimizing harvest operation – the mission of the Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF) which was founded last year is to provide resources and expertise for the implementation of technical projects in agriculture and agricultural technology. Mote is the only camera manufacturer to be a member of AEF. “Today’s agriculture is more and more dominated by highly complex electronics“, says Ferdinand Gräf, Managing Director of Motec GmbH. “State-of-the-art camera systems are a key component of the increasingly networked on-board electronics, providing valuable support for drivers who need to safely move their vehicle through road traffic and to optimize the harvesting results. The AEF has been founded in autumn 2008 as an initiative of agricultural associations, the VDMA and the AEM (Agricultural Equipment Manufacturers). Other members, in addition to Motec, include companies such as AGCO/Fendt, Claas, CNH, Grimme, John Deere and the Kverneland Group.
